Fidget Spinner Card

Hey Deer Friends,

Good Evening, I hope you have all had a great week!! I hope you enjoyed the design teams coffee projects throughout the week. If you haven't already stop by Kadoodle Bug Designs Website and check out all the new Coffee files. They are so Stinkin Cute!!

Tonight, I want to show you a fun Fidget Spinner Card. This new file is perfect for all those that love fidget spinners. My nephew has ADHD and he just informed me last weekend that he now has 5 fidget spinners. He truly enjoys them!! I think he gets nervous if I'm holding them though because he only lets me hold it if I'm sitting down. Haha I guess he's afraid I'll drop them. My nephew's birthday is coming up in July, so I wanted to make a birthday card that had fidget spinners. For this card, I used the new file Just Keep Spinning from Kadoodle Bug Designs.

The card didn't go quite like I planned it to go. Originally, I wanted the fidget spinner to spin around in a circle, but I've never made a spinner card before and it wasn't spinning like it does on the videos. I'm thinking I needed to make the inner circle smaller or something. So, I decided to leave the card like it was and just make it spin in one spot in the center of the circle. I thought my nephew would get a kick over the fact that it actually spins.

Below is a complete list of supplies and materials used to complete this project:

Summer Coffee Card

Hey Coffee Loving Friends,

Good Morning and Welcome to the Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop!! You will want to go to http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/ to start the blog hop. Grab a cup of Coffee and head on over and see all the wonderful projects everyone has come up with. Kadoodle Bug Designs is a Super Sponsor for the Hop. You can find some cut Coffee files over on their website http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/. While you are there pick up this weeks super cute coffee themed freebie!!

This morning I want to show you a cute Summer themed Coffee Card. I wanted it to look like the turtle was relaxing on the beach drinking a iced latte. For this card, I used a combination of three files Paradise Found, Kawaii Summer Drink, and Cutie Katoodles Lemonade Turtle from Kadoodle Bug Designs.

I love making scenes with the cards I make but my favorite happens to be tropical beach scenes. Who wouldn't want to be on the beach right now relaxing with a cold drink?!? For the turtle, I replaced the lemonade cup with the Kawaii Summer drink. I didn't put the orange slice on the side though because I thought it was to much for a coffee. Instead of lemons by her feet and in her hair bow I replaced that with the Coffee Beans.

Below is a complete list of supplies and materials used to complete this project:
Paper Piecing.
KaDoodle Bug Files:  Cutie Katoodles  Lemonade TurtleKawaii Summer Drink, and Paradise Found
Martha Stewart Elegant Cake Art Cricut Cartridge: Oval Scallop. (I sliced this in a square to create the frame.)
Love you Latte Cricut Cartridge: Coffee Bean
Gypsy Wanderings Cricut Design Space: Love You. (I used the love you and attached it to the Latte which is wrote in Milkshake font.)
Cardstock:  Core'dinations from JoAnn's & DCWV Brights.
Colorbox Chalk Cat's Eyes Ink: Brown, Cocoa, Dark Peony, Olive, Fresh Green & Moss Green.
Stampibilities Ink:  Sable & Violet
Stampin Up Ink: Chocolate Chip, Rose Red, Cameo Coral & Apricot Appeal.
Studio G Ink: Blue
Adhesive: Atg Gun, Zig 2 way glue, Foam adhesive and red sticky tape.

Father's Day Card

Hey Deer Friends,

I hope you all are having a great week!! I had a funeral to go to this week and I've been babysitting my nieces, so I'm delayed in getting my card posted.

Tonight, I want to show you a Father's Day card I made using the fishing bear freebie from last week. I really liked the bear and thought it'd be cute to make a big one as the Dad and a little one as the son.   For this card, I used a combination of two files Fishing Bear and Gone Fishing from Kadoodle Bug Designs.

I love making scenes with the cards and scrapbook pages I make. It's fun for me to add all the details into the creations. I guess that's the way my brain works because I just love details!!! When I created this I wanted the Dad and Son bear to be on a boat fishing. So I used the boat from the Gone Fishing file and then the woodgrain stamp to create a realistic boat. Then, I used some blue Nuvo Drops to create the ripples in the water. To finish it I added some cattails around the boat to complete the scene. : )

Below is a complete list of supplies and materials used to complete this project:
Paper Piecing
KaDoodle Bug Files:  Gone Fishing and Fishing Bear
Disney Classics Cricut Cartridge: Cattail
Cardstock:  Core'dinations from JoAnn's & Recollections from Michaels.
Colorbox Chalk Cat's Eyes Ink: Black, Brown, Blue, Cocoa, Rose Coral, Olive, & Scarlet.

Adhesive: Atg Gun, Zig 2 way glue,  & glue dots.

Hey Deer Friends,

I hope you had a great week!! I spent this morning with my Mom and Sister in Law yard selling. It's always fun to go to yard sales and find treasures for cheaper prices. And crafty treasures are my favorite. Yesterday, I got a scrapbook paper rack for $20. It's got 30 slots to put all the paper in. I'm super excited about it!!! I need to do some rearranging before I can actually put it in my room though. I also got some brand new school themed washi tape and some black and white twine for 50 cents each.

Tonight, I want to show you the last Teacher Appreciation Card I made for my other nieces teacher.  I used a combination of two files from Kadoodle Bug Designs for this card: Cutie Katoodles Smarty Owl and Color Me Cute.
